BAIE Wines only opens it’s doors a few times a year, and the Winter Shiraz Weekend will be the first for 2018!

The team at BAIE love to host guests at their waterfront small batch winery, so the weekend is always a very special one. Think beautiful BAIE Wines, warm fires, live music, a delicious hearty Italian inspired lunch menu, regional masterclasses and special wine offers throughout the weekend.

Wine – We will be pouring up a storm of all your BAIE Wines favourites, but of course this winter weekend is about Shiraz so we have some special offers for Shiraz and Saignée over the weekend for your drinking pleasure.

Food – Delicious comforting winter warming food by the local legends at Annie’s Kitchen is on the menu for the Winter Shiraz Weekend at BAIE. With an Italian Ristorante flare their menu for the weekend is sure to delight – choose your favourites – or even better enjoy all 3 dishes for a beautiful 3 course lunch. Buon appetite!

Small option $10 – Little porchetta rolls, raddichio, shaved fennel & salsa verde. *Gluten free bread/rolls will be available.

Large option $15 – Orrichette, braised beef shin & shiraz ragu, shaved grana Padano, Orrichette, broccoli and pinenuts (V).

Music – Impressive Local Talent Troy Barrett and Marcus Hayden will providing stunning live acoustic tunes for your singing, dancing and listening pleasure.

SATURDAY 7TH JULY 12.00PM-1.00PM: Shiraz or Syrah? Is there a difference?

An informative Shiraz masterclass with Barwon Heads Wine legend Richard Crowley. Richard will guide you through an hour of tasting, exploring five beautiful Australian Shiraz Wines from different regions including Coonawarra, McLaren Vale, Heathcote and of course the Bellarine! An opportunity to look at a line of up different styles of this classic grape, examining the different nuances and flavour profiles as a result of their individual terroir.

Secrets to the perfect Risotto: 
An hour masterclass with Annie’s Provedore Executive Chef Garreth Jones, cooking and demonstrating the trade tips to this delicious creamy Italian family favourite, with tastings of the final product at the end of the class.Limited places available – $20/per person.
