Lume Blanc and Rosé are wines with all of the quality and flavour you would expect from BAIE Wines, with a lighter alcohol of 7.9% ABV and just 75 calories per 150ml glass.
The Making
To achieve a 30% reduction in alcohol and 75 calories per 150ml glass, we utilise our BAIE Wines Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris base wines and apply a unique reverse osmosis process that separates the wine into a concentrate and an alcohol rich permeate. The permeate is then treated through a specialised membrane to remove the desired alcohol while leaving the delicate flavour and aroma intact. The permeate is then recombined with the original concentrate of wine to produce a lighter in alcohol and calories wine while maintaining the fullness in flavour.

Careful attention to grape health and quality, coupled with innovations in reducing alcohol, ensures these are purpose-made small-batch wines with excellent flavour and drinkability.
